Vendor – A party selling on JTMB Store

Commission – Fee payable to JTMB Store

By signing up as a vendor, a party selling on JTMB Store with our vendor policy and is obligated to act in a manner that is in line with it.

Registration

All prospective vendors should provide correct information and check a box to confirm that the provided information is accurate. Only people with valid South African identity documents are allowed to sell on JTMB Store. 

JTMB Store holds the right to reject a vendor. Rejected vendors can apply again after 30 days.

Products

Vendors can only upload ten (10) products

All vendors have unlimited rights for the management of their products. However, JTMB Store has the right to remove live products if:

  • The product pictures are poor
  • The products are more than ten (10)
  • The products are not clothes, shoes, cosmetics, or accessories
  • We have received complaints about the product
  • The price is unreasonably high
  • Copyright images complaints
  • The product has no description and attributes
  • The product is misleading
  • The product was copy and pasted from another vendor
  • The product promotes hate speech or discrimination (e,g a t-shirt with undesirable texts)
  • The product sold is not new
  • The product is a file that has a virus

All items sold on JTMB Store must be brand new.

Store

Every vendor has a store which they fully own and enjoy their privacy. The dashboard has capabilities that JTMB Store has given to vendors.

The capabilities (features) are on the free membership page, and JTMB Store may add or remove store features with notice. 

Orders and Payments – Withdrawal

A vendor has full control over their orders, and JTMB Store has limited control over a vendor’s store orders – we may change an order status if a vendor fails to respond to it within two days.

Customers use the global JTMB Store checkout and,

Customers make payments (for products and delivery) to JTMB Store, in which JTMB Store will take a commission and then add the fees into a vendor’s store account. We do not automatically send the funds – a vendor must request a withdrawal from their dashboard. JTMB Store approves withdrawal requests within 24 hours – every day.

We use order details to find the vendor who is the order recipient and add the balance to his/her/their account.

When a vendor withdrawal request is approved, their money is deposited into their bank account within 24 hours. We will use the bank details provided by the vendor, and we do not take responsibility if the vendor provided incorrect bank details. 

Delivery

All vendors must offer the global JTMB Store delivery method:

  • Pep Paxi = R60 or,
  • The Courier guy / Aramex = R100

JTMB Store offers free shipping for orders above R700 and a vendor is not liable for the delivery fee, JTMB Store pays for it.

Commissions

JTMB Store will take 7% for every sale made by vendors

Refunds and Returns

Vendors must follow the global JTMB Store refund and return policy which states that: 

Should you wish to return any item/s purchased on our website, you may do so for a credit, refund, or exchange.

The goods will only be accepted, for whatever reason, if returned within 5 days of receipt by the purchaser.

The goods must be in their original condition unworn and with labelling and swing tags intact.

If the item/s is unsuitable please communicate to make the necessary return arrangements.

If you would like to exchange the item, a collection and re-delivery will be arranged at no charge.

The above is applicable once per order.

One may also return/exchange their order at any JTMB Store with prior arrangements made.

Online goods needing to be returned from outlying areas will be at the cost of the customer.

Gift cards cannot be returned.

Refunds

Refunds will be in the original method of payment.

Refunds take 1- 5 working days, after receipt of goods by JTMB Store to process. Credit card refunds should take 2-3 working days to reflect in your account.

The goods will only be accepted, for whatever reason, if returned within 5 days of receipt by the purchaser.

The goods must be in their original condition unworn and with labelling and swing tags intact.

Sale products are not eligible for return or exchange, therefore no refunds will be processed for these products unless the product is broken/damaged/faulty/incorrect.

Cancelling a vendor store

  • Vendors can close their stores anytime
  • Vendor attempts to hack into JTMB Store’s admin panel or other vendor’s stores.
  • JTMB Store can close a vendor’s store if the vendor continues to violate the guidelines provided in this vendor store policy after a warning was issued twice
